CIRCUS AT THE EDGE // Theatre as Barter

A two week seminar with

Kai Bredholt, actor and musician at Odin Teatret and
Mario Barzaghi, Italian actor, kathakali dancer and clown

- for musicians, singers, dancers, circus artists
and of course actors

The seminar will focus on the process of creating a montage of theatre materials from dance, songs and physical scores with the aim of making a performance which will unfold in a social context. Together with local amateur musicians, farmers, shepherds, horse riders, cows, sheep and horses, the performance ”Circus at the Edge” will be presented seven times. The seminar and performances will take place by the sea at the foot of Bovbjerg Light House on the west coast of Juland, Denmark.

The seminar fee of (Danish kroner) DKK 4.000 includes accommodation during the 15 day seminar.
